About the Job
A Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for operating a powered industrial lift truck to safely pick, move, and transport products or materials within a warehouse or distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a cherry picker (order picker) to retrieve products from high warehouse shelves.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Move and transport inventory to designated areas.
- Load and unload merchandise as needed.
- Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment guidelines.
- Keep the warehouse and work area clean and organized.
- Meet daily productivity and order-picking goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience operating a cherry picker is a plus.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work at heights.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
